Biography
Shakuhachi player born in Kyoto City, Japan. Studied Tozan-ryu shakuhachi under Miyoshi Genzan, and graduated from the Department of Japanese Traditional Music at Tokyo University of the Arts, later completing its graduate program. Active across honkyoku and sankyoku ensemble repertoire, shakuhachi ensemble works, and premieres of newly composed pieces.
